Carruth Cellars – Winery on Cedros
The latest addition to the wine scene in North County is here. Definitely not your typical winery, tucked away behind a furniture store & next to an Art studio, this little tasting room/winery has the atmosphere of a brewery. Concrete floors & aging barrels of wine racks stacked to the ceiling, the artisan vibe intrigues you the minute you walk in the door.
The staff welcome you like family while sharing stories of each wine & how they came to be “The Winery on Cedros”. With over a year in the making, this vintner personally selects the grapes from wine regions all over California like Mendocino County, Paso Robles, Sonoma & Napa Valley to produce some fantastic single vineyard wines.
With a couple medals already under their belt, Carruth offers a unique selection of hand crafted Whites & Reds to taste for only $10. You might even be tempted to join the Wine Thieves Club where $50 gets you 2 bottles 
every other month. Plus, free wine tastings, 20% off & an opportunity to “thief” from a barrel.
Carruth Cellars is located in the walking Cedros district of Solana Beach, just a block south of the Belly Up Tavern.
Open Wednesday – Saturday from 12-9pm & Sundays from 12-6pm or By appointment.
